THE BLACK MALE COMMUNITY COUNCIL OF PHILADELPHIA
TRUSTED SERVANTS OF THE BLACK COMMUNITY
Community Vision Project Concept
The concept for the Community Vision Project is to create a virtual video media campaign that will produce provocative and substantive videos from people of African decent. This is an opportunity to create and tell our own story through the voices of the African American communities locally, regionally, and nationally. It is a fact that we are left out of history books with vague or no descriptions of our experiences, trials, tribulations, successes, accomplishments or contributions. The Community Vision Project will provide a real look at who we are as people of the African Diaspora.
This project will open doors for the creation of human service and social programming which will support the community with self governance, community security, and harm-free zones for the safety of our women, children, and elderly.
The Community Vision Project will convene an initial planning meeting with selected community stakeholders that will move the project forward.
